Behavioral Health Clinical Associate PractitionerUnder direct supervision of a licensed behavioral health Clinician or psychologist, provides access to and delivers behavioral health services, within a defined scope of practice to Bering Straits residents, including, but not limited to, individual/group counseling, case management for substance abuse and mental health concerns, substance use assessments and treatment planning, community development, prevention, wellness education, and supervision. The Clinical Associate Practitioner will demonstrate and be assisted in the essential functions of the position.Uphold the organization's vision, mission, and corporate values. Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with organization's policies, procedures, code of conduct and work rules.Essential Functions:Under the supervision and by the direction of the clinical supervisor and administrative supervisor the Clinical Associate Practitioner shall demonstrate and apply the following functions:Provide and document participation in the following inpatient and outpatient services:Routine client contact, screening, assessment, and evaluationTreatment planningCase consultationCase management, coordination, and monitoring treatment planClient and community engagementPrevention, community education, and community organizingCommunity resources and referralsProvide and document participation in crisis management servicesEngage, complete, and practice the skills and knowledge offered through the Behavioral Health Aide (BHA) and/or Chemical Dependency Counselor (CDC) programsProvide mentorship, training, and professional developmentSubmit CARF and Medicaid compliant documentation in a timely manner.Continue to pursue training opportunities and seek more credentialing and skillsPerform other duties as assignedPersonal Traits:All Norton Sound Health Corporation employees are expected to consistently demonstrate the organization's values: integrity, cultural sensitivity and respect for traditional values, continual learning and improving, compassion, teamwork and pride.
