We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Secretary to support daily legal administrative operations. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and can manage deadlines with accuracy and professionalism. The role involves coordinating filings, maintaining schedules, and preparing correspondence while providing dependable support to attorneys and legal staff.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare, review, and submit legal documents through electronic court filing systems while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Manage attorney calendars by organizing hearings, deadlines, meetings, and other case-related commitments.
• Transcribe dictated notes and correspondence into legal documents, letters, and internal records.
• Maintain case files and supporting documentation in an orderly manner for easy retrieval and compliance purposes.
• Coordinate with courts, clients, and outside parties to support scheduling and document handling needs.
• Monitor filing deadlines and procedural requirements to help keep matters on track.
• Draft and format legal correspondence, pleadings, and other administrative materials as directed.
• Provide general administrative support to the legal team, including document preparation, record updates, and communication follow-up.• Prior experience working as a Legal Secretary or in a comparable legal administrative position.
• Hands-on experience with electronic filing systems and court document submission procedures.
• Strong ability to manage calendars, deadlines, and multiple priorities in a legal setting.
• Proficiency in transcription or dictation-based document preparation.
• Excellent written communication skills and a high level of accuracy in document handling.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to maintain confidential legal information.
• Familiarity with legal terminology, court processes, and standard office software.
