Be part of a team that pushes the boundaries of satellite communications technology to make global connectivity a reality.As a Device Software Development Manager on the Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) team, you will design and develop embedded software for Amazon Leo's satellite and ground systems. You’ll work on fault-tolerant, real-time platforms, collaborating closely with hardware, systems, and product teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance embedded solutions.Key job responsibilities- Work with peer teams and customers to design suitable platform software systems and interfaces with underlying hardware.- Define, build and lead the SW integration team that is responsible for all embedded deliverables- Develop a strategic plan for the growth of the team, both from a software and integrated mission outcomes perspective.- Hire & Develop a diverse team of software engineers.- Collaborate with your fellow team members to integrate various system elements, both hardware and software.Citizenship : This position requires that the candidate be a US Citizen.About the teamAmazon Leo for Government (ALG) is a multidisciplinary team developing targeted and scalable solutions for custom satellite and ground applications. ALG Device Software focuses on embedded software solutions for custom products supporting U.S. and allied government customers.
