Inside Sales Assistant

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Inside Sales Assistant role based in the Greater Chicago Area. The Inside Sales Assistant will support the sales team by responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotes, and processing orders in a timely and accurate manner. This role includes maintaining and updating customer records, tracking order status, and coordinating with production and logistics to ensure on-time delivery. The Inside Sales Assistant will communicate regularly with customers and internal stakeholders to provide product information, resolve issues, and ensure a positive service experience. The role also involves assisting with sales reports, basic forecasting, and follow-up on leads to help drive revenue and strengthen customer relationships. Qualifications Demonstrated Inside Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to support lead follow-up and account management. Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, build rapport, and resolve issues effectively. Proficiency in Order Processing, including entering orders, checking accuracy, and coordinating with internal teams. Basic knowledge of cabling, connectivity, or commercial AV/broadcast products is beneficial. Comfort using CRM systems and standard office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, and order management tools). Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams in the Greater Chicago Area.
