Job Description
The Team Cook plays a vital role in preparing routine daily menus and special event catering within a small team of 1-5 members. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, this position ensures high-quality food preparation while maintaining kitchen cleanliness, safety, and efficient inventory management. The Team Cook collaborates closely with the team to uphold sanitation standards and contribute to smooth kitchen operations without any travel requirements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food according to routine and special event menus
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Manage inventory and order necessary supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Coordinate with team members for efficient kitchen workflows
- Perform quality control on prepared dishes
- Handle waste management and minimize food waste
Preferred Qualifications
- Over 1 year of cooking experience
- Skilled in food preparation and kitchen safety
- Effective time management and team collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and basic knife skills
- Proficient in inventory management and communication
