Project Architect/Manager

Project Architect – NBBJ Boston NBBJ Boston is seeking a Project Architect with experience in the design, documentation, and planning of complex projects across various scales and sectors, including Science, Healthcare, Higher Education, Mixed-Use Commercial, and Corporate Interiors. In your new role, you will Support and lead the technical design and documentation of projects at various scales. Participate in client presentations and coordinate with OPMs. Develop and finalize documents to ensure compliance with building codes, life safety standards, FGI guidelines, and technical accuracy. Coordinate with interior, MEP, and structural disciplines throughout the design and documentation phases. Collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, and Project Managers from Concept Design through Construction Administration. What you will need to succeed 10–12 years of experience in architectural design and documentation within medium to large‑scale building programs. Demonstrated excellence in design and innovation. Experience with projects from design development through construction administration, with strong problem‑solving skills. Strong verbal and graphic communication skills, effective client relationship skills, and the ability to work with diverse teams of designers and consultants. Experience with interior documentation and detailing, including casework detailing. Professional licensure or progress toward licensure is encouraged. LEED accreditation encouraged. Familiarity with LEAN concepts encouraged. Compensation The annual base pay range for this role is anticipated to be between $110,000 and $120,000, adjusted based on skills, qualifications, and experience. Location This role requires the individual to be based in the United States.
