System Administrator/Developer

Role Overview:

• Configure the REDCap System to ensure robustness, security, and compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 regulations, including validation of system compliance.
• Perform application configuration, monitor, maintain, and test application performance by ensuring reliable operation for all users, and troubleshooting system failures or computer hardware and software issues.
• Upgrade the REDCap application and coordinate server patching to improve functionality, installation, and the testing of new or changed hardware/software as well as responding to and resolving end user-reported issues.
• Implement and follow the standard methodologies in software development, code versioning, software testing, and deployment.
• Take part in code reviews, build/release management, and other R&D discussions.

Key Qualifications:

• 4-6 years' experience in Linux/Windows system administration
• Solid understanding of Apache server management and Red Hat Linux Enterprise
• Proficiency in MySQL/MariaDB database server platforms
• Experience/understanding of Active Directory/LDAP
• Experience with HIPPA Data Privacy policies/regulations preferred.
• Exposure to full stack development using some combination of these technologies: PHP/Python, Flask/Spring/Django, MySQL/MongoDB.

• Reporting to Senior Manager, Clinical Research IT Software Engineering
• Schedule: Onsite once a week

Pay Range: $98,500 - $157,600
