Job Summary Job Summary The Maintenance & Operations Parts Coordinator will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the parts inventory as well as the overall appearance and organization of the inventory areas and the purchase of operation. Duties and Responsibilities Role and Responsibilities Organizes and maintains the parts inventory for the facility and plant equipment. Orders, receives, and puts away parts for maintenance and operations departments. Contacts vendors for formal quotes and delivery information. Performs cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy. Reports discrepancies between physical counts and computer records. Works with maintenance and project personnel to identify parts, material and any equipment needed. Checks out and returns inventory. Coordinates the repair of repairable inventory. Kits and stages parts for work orders. Performs other duties as assigned Key Responsibilities: Requires handling of objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs. Walking, sitting, standing and climbing stairs and ladders. Responsibilities may require an adjusted work schedule, overtime or weekend hours to support equipment and plant maintenance. Required Skills Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in inventory control. High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control Must have strong interpersonal skills Basic computer skills Be able to work independently with moderate supervision Positive attitude and motivated by contributing to the overall success of the team Able to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Creative problem-solving skills Obsessive attention to detail, well organized and able to juggle many projects at once Comfortable moving at a fast pace and in ambiguous environments Passionate about food Willing to address difficult situations head on with patience and respect Responsibility Works with little supervision, but work is reviewed. Exercises discretion within areas of responsibility. Recommends actions and alternatives to supervisor and others. Position makes indirect contribution to efforts that generate moderate levels of revenue. Decisions or actions may have a moderate impact on other departments and/or external relationships of the organization. Physical Demands/Efforts Work requires occasional physical exertion, including some lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Mental & Visual Demands Work performed by this position requires moderate concentration to effectively execute moderately complex tasks. Work Environment and Hazards Employee works in a manufacturing setting with some exposure to heat, cold, dust, or other factors of minor inconvenience. Less than 1% travel is required for this position. Travel would be to other sites via airplane Must have availability and flexibility to work different shifts and days, sometimes for weeks at a time. Ranges will be reviewed on a regular basis. An employee’srate of pay within the range is determined by their qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated performance over time.In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team membersas a part of any final offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.The Maintenance Parts Coordinator position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package.
