Unix / Linux System Administrator With DevOpsWe are seeking a talented and motivated Unix / Linux System Administrator with DevOps expertise to join our team and manage the infrastructure that supports our applications and services. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, automating, and optimizing our Unix and Linux-based systems while integrating DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, enhance security, and automate workflows across development, testing, and production environments. Join us to play a key role in improving the efficiency and scalability of our infrastructure.Location: Chantilly, VA 20151Clearance: TS/SCI Full Poly (Please note this position requires full U.S. Citizenship)Key Summary: Manage and maintain Unix/Linux servers and systems, implement and manage automation tools for deployment, monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, collaborate with development and operations teams, ensure system security and compliance, develop and maintain system documentation and procedures.Required Skills: Proficiency in Unix/Linux administration, experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet), strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python), knowledge of DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker), experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus), familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).Desired Skills: Experience with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform), experience with virtualization tools (e.g., VMware), expertise in high-availability systems and disaster recovery.
