Construction Project Accountant

Insight Global is seeking a Construction Project Accountant for a top facilities management and construction services client. This candidate will play a critical role supporting a rapidly growing construction management organization by overseeing financial operations across a portfolio of capital projects. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of project accounting, construction accounting, or project financial management experience Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, financial controls, and project reporting Advanced Excel skills: XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot Table,s Data analysis and reconciliations Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills with Project Managers, Operations, and Finance leadership Experience with financial reporting, project reconciliations, and account analysis NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Construction industry experience Experience supporting project closeouts Experience with reimbursable revenue collections Internal and/or external audit support experience Process improvement or business transformation experience Experience with project coding structures, cost centers, and project financial reporting #J-18808-Ljbffr
