Contractor | $17.50/hr (includes $1.25 shift differential) | 2nd Shift: Mon-Fri, 2:30pm-10:30pm

About the Role
Join a dynamic warehouse operations team as an Operator 1 and play a key role in ensuring efficient material handling and product movement. This position offers hands-on experience with warehouse technology in a climate-controlled environment and is ideal for candidates ready to develop essential logistics skills. You'll work with cutting-edge equipment and have the opportunity to grow your abilities in a supportive, metrics-driven setting.

Responsibilities

- Stack boxes and organize products efficiently to maintain workflow
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, handcarts, and power trucks safely
- Accurately count, scan, and record inventory using RF Scanners
- Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines
- Maintain basic inventory records and complete routine paperwork
- Uphold safety protocols by wearing steel/composite toe shoes and following all safety procedures
- Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity targets

Required Skills and Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-1 year warehouse or related experience/training
- Basic computer skills; ability to use RF scanners
- Strong physical stamina for regular lifting, moving, and standing
- Clear, effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, comprehension)
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Willingness to undergo a background check and 10-panel drug screen
- Steel or composite toe shoes required

Preferred Skills

- Experience with forklifts or pallet jacks
- Exposure to metrics-driven environments
- Basic analytical skills in material handling/logistics
