A nonprofit in Warwick is looking for an Affordable Housing Assistant Property Manager to help run its residential portfolio. You'll work with residents and support leasing, recertifications, and rent collection.

Compensation & Highlights:
Location: Warwick, RI
$45,000-$60,000 per year, based on experience
Contract-to-permanent
Responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager:
- Assist with leasing, property tours, and processing applications.
- Ensure accurate documentation and communication with tenants and prospects.
- Help prepare tenant initial and interim recertifications under LIHTC, Section 8, and HUD guidelines.
- Serve as a go-to contact for residents, answering questions and helping resolve community concerns.
- Support rent collections, post payments, and help manage minor account delinquencies.
Qualifications of the Assistant Property Manager:
- 1-2+ years of property management or strong residential administrative experience.
- An affordable housing background is a plus.
- Basic familiarity with HUD, LIHTC, Section 8, or Fair Housing regulations preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, customer-first approach.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office. Experience with Yardi, RealPage, or MRI highly preferred.
