Details Work in a 12-bed Oncology unit with an average daily census of 32 patients Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with diagnoses spanning hematology, oncology, and non‑oncology conditions such as asthma/allergy, GI, rheumatology, and MS Nurse‑to‑patient ratio of 1:6 Specialized procedures include port accessing and IV placement Medication management via Omnicell Documentation via Cerner and IntelliDose Day shift schedule: 4x9.5‑hour shifts, 8:00–17:30 Requirements Active Massachusetts RN license required Current BLS certification required ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certificate required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred Cerner EMR experience preferred Additional Information Orientation consists of 3–4 shifts with a preceptor Scrubs are not provided; any color scrubs are acceptable First‑time travelers are welcome to apply All time‑off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration Two professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration Full 7‑year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration American Traveler Job ID #P-713853.
