Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:Schedule patient appointments for cosmetic services and consultationsBe available for patient consultation at request of physicianPerform cosmetic procedures as directed by physicianRoom patients, thoroughly explain treatment, expected results and potential risks, obtain patient signature on appropriate consentsEducate patients about our services and skincare productsAssist patients in skincare products selectionFollow up with patients after treatmentDocument patient and treatment informationMaintain work area in a clean and orderly conditionWash and sterilize supplies, instruments and equipment dailySet up, clean and disinfect aesthetician room dailyOrder cosmetic supplies and products through approved vendorsResponsible for maintaining inventory and ordering of products and samplesResponsible for maintaining equipmentOther duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation: Board Certified Aesthetician in the State of TexasExperience: Experience preferred.Other Requirements: Laser Hair Removal CertificationPerformance Requirements:Experience with Lasers and IPL machinesExperience with microdermabrasion and chemical peelsComputer literateEquipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.Work Environment: Position is in a well-lighted medical office environment.Physical Requirements: Must possess the manual dexterity to operate office machines including computer and ipad; stooping, bending to handle files and supplies; and mobility to complete errands or deliveries. Includes handling of sharps and chemicals. Stress can be triggered by multiple staff demands and deadlines.QualificationsEducation: Board Certified Aesthetician in the State of FloridaExperience: Experience preferred.Other RequirementLaser Hair Removal CertificationValid Driver License with acceptable driving historyPlease note, any offer of employment is contingent on the successful completion of pre-employment background checks.
