Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.Schedule: Per-Diem, 0-24 hours/week @ 4-12 hours per shift, starting at 5:15amCompensation: Pay ranges from $33-$47 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience; needs to be an experienced nurseResponsibilitiesWhat You Can Expect:Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are metPerform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and proceduresOngoing patient education, training and health coachingMonitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and familiesAdminister and chart all prescribed medicationsFollow CDC/CMS infection control regulationsParticipate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviewsDocument required patient education effortsFacilitate continuity of care with local hospitalsAssist in medication inventory maintenanceLead a small patient care teamContribute to onboarding new staff members as directedAdditional tasks as requestedQualificationsSuccessful candidates bring:Excellent communication skillsDemonstrated clinical excellenceDesire to collaborate with care teamsAbility to problem solveEducation/Training:Accredited nursing degree requiredDialysis experience required, job shadow opportunities availableDCI provides 3-months of comprehensive training, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills trainingDCI is committed to building a diverse and inclusive organization.
