Job Description Job Description Overview Speech Language Pathologist – Travel assignment in a K-12 school setting serving multiple grade levels in Federal Way, Washington. Start date: September 2, 2026. Duration: 41 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,403 to $2,453. Shift: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday through Friday (5x8). This is a travel temporary assignment with a school-based setting. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,403–$2,453 per week - Contract duration: 41 weeks - Start date: September 2, 2026 - Shift: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday (5x8) - Setting: K-12 school (elementary through high school) - Guaranteed hours: 0 Responsibilities - Deliver speech-language pathology evaluation, diagnosis, and intervention for students across the school-age range. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals; monitor progress and adjust as needed. - Conduct screenings, assess communication and feeding concerns, and recommend appropriate therapy strategies. - Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathology assistants, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals and access to curriculum. - Document services and outcomes in student records; participate in IEP meetings and progress reporting. - Maintain professional standards and comply with school-based policies and confidentiality requirements. Requirements - Active license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Washington state (or eligible for licensure in Washington). - Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. - Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligible for CF-SLP. - Relevant school-based or pediatric experience preferred. - Ability to work effectively in a school setting; strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to pass routine background check and obtain any required clearances.
