Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking a experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care during night shifts. Candidate must be flexible to work 3x12-hour shifts and handle variable assignments including floating to different campuses.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment.
  
  
• 
  Utilize EPIC electronic health records to document patient assessments and treatments.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Perform EKG exams and interpret results accurately.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including CPI, PALS, and TNCC credentials.
  
  
• 
  Support patient advocacy and education to ensure understanding of care instructions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active RN license in good standing.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 2 years of recent ER experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications; NIH required.
  
  
• 
  Meet the requirements for Tier2 travel compliance.
  
  
• 
  Successfully pass all required background checks and ensure no open cases.
