ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely drive tractor-trailer to transport cranes and equipment to job sites.
- Properly secure equipment to the trailer for preparation for hauling.
- Utilize proper rigging techniques to ensure safe lifting of the load, including hand signals for the safe operation of the crane.
- Connects pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts, shackles, and clamps
- Dismantles, maintains and stores rigging equipment
- Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability before engaging in hoisting and lifting
- NCCCO or NCCER certification required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Class A CDL required to drive commercial vehicles.
- Minimum 2 years experience driving commercial vehicles.
- Minimum 1 year prior experience rigging cranes or similar equipment
- Ability to work overtime, weekends and/or holidays.
- Professional communication skill to be able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals, and safety training.
