CMA Float 26008044 Sign On Bonus for Eligible New Hires*** Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Lake Worth: 4701 Boat Club Road -Suite 325 Fort Worth, TX 76135 Huguley: 12001 South Freeway - Suite 208 Burleson, TX 76028 Magnolia: 1320 Hemphill Street - Suite 350 Fort Worth, TX 76104 Downtown: 100 North Forest Park Blvd - Suite 120 Fort Worth, TX 76012 Work hours: Full Time (40 Hour) Day Shift; Monday through Friday (8:00A-5:00P) Clinic Highlights No Weekends Promotional Opportunities Bonus Opportunities Here’s What You Need High School Diploma or Equivalent (REQUIRED) 1 year Medical Assistant experience within the last three years (REQUIRED) CMA - Certified Medical Assistant upon hire (REQUIRED) NCT - Non-Certified Radiologic Technician training may be required upon hire (PREFERRED) Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) educational program with demonstrated competency in required skills- within 90 days of job entry (REQUIRED) Bilingual - English/Spanish (STRONGLY PREFERRED) No new CMA's please Phlebotomy experience (STRONGLY PREFERRED) ACLS or BCLS upon hire (PREFERRED) Skills & Abilities Ability to perform EKGs, draw blood, and administer injections as needed by assigned clinic Ability to effectively communicate to staff and patients Demonstrated knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures Thorough knowledge of the meaning and use of medical terminology and abbreviations Demonstrated sound judgment and composure with the ability to take appropriate action in questionable or emergency situations What You Will Do Performs general patient care by following established standards and procedures. Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider. Obtains and records vital signs including, but not limited to: blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem. Administers ordered medications and/or vaccines via oral, injection, topical, rectal, ophthalmic, and/or inhalant administration. May work in the front office as needed, as well as perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s).
