Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Oracle Reporting Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) and Oracle BI Publisher. The consultant will design, develop, implement, and support enterprise reporting solutions across Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, translating business requirements into scalable operational, analytical, and management reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop OTBI analyses, dashboards, subject areas, prompts, filters, and interactive reports across Oracle Fusion applications.
• Develop complex BI Publisher reports, templates, data models, bursting definitions, and scheduled reporting solutions.
• Gather reporting requirements from business and functional teams and translate them into technical reporting solutions.
• Create reports for Oracle Fusion Financials, HCM, SCM, Procurement, Projects, and other Oracle Cloud modules.
• Develop complex SQL queries, joins, calculations, parameters, and data models to support reporting requirements.
• Configure OTBI dashboards and analyses using Oracle Fusion transactional and subject-area data.
• Design BI Publisher data models using SQL queries, data sets, parameters, triggers, and hierarchical XML structures.
• Develop RTF, Excel, PDF, HTML, and other BI Publisher report templates.
• Configure report scheduling, bursting, delivery channels, and automated distribution.
• Integrate reporting solutions with Oracle Fusion Cloud and other enterprise applications.
• Analyze reporting performance and optimize SQL queries, data models, dashboards, and report execution.
• Support financial, operational, regulatory, and executive reporting requirements.
• Perform report unit testing, system integration testing, regression testing, and production validation.
• Troubleshoot report failures, data discrepancies, performance issues, and security/access problems.
• Work with Oracle functional consultants to validate data, business rules, calculations, and reporting logic.
• Establish reporting standards, reusable components, naming conventions, and development best practices.
• Support data reconciliation and ensure report outputs accurately reflect Oracle transactional data.
• Manage report migration and deployment across development, test, and production environments.
• Prepare technical documentation, report specifications, data mapping documents, and support procedures.
• Provide production support and resolve reporting incidents within defined SLAs.
• Participate in Oracle Fusion upgrades, enhancements, testing, and reporting impact assessments.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Oracle reporting and business intelligence.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle OTBI and BI Publisher.
• Strong experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and reporting architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL, Oracle databases, and complex query development.
• Experience developing OTBI analyses, dashboards, prompts, filters, and calculated measures.
• Experience developing BI Publisher data models, RTF templates, bursting, scheduling, and delivery configurations.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion subject areas and transactional data structures.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Financials, HCM, SCM, Procurement, or Projects reporting.
• Experience with report performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience working with business users, functional consultants, technical teams, and stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP, HCM, SCM, or EPM implementations.
• Knowledge of Oracle REST/SOAP APIs and integration technologies.
• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and reporting integrations.
• Experience supporting Oracle Cloud implementations, upgrades, and data migrations.
• Knowledge of Oracle security, roles, privileges, and data access controls.
• Oracle BI, OTBI, or BI Publisher certification is preferred.
• Experience in Agile and/or Oracle implementation methodologies is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
