Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele Resource Pool position in Des Moines, IA, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a willingness to float across multiple med/surg units.

Details

• Resource Pool position within a large medical center, requiring rotation across multiple Med/Surg floors
• Float assignments include Ortho, Med/Surg, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med/Surg Tele units
• Floating may include travel to a second campus approximately 9.5 miles from the main location
• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Iowa RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS certification required for all direct patient care personnel
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Holiday coverage required on an every-other-holiday basis
• Local candidates are accepted; local pay rates are available for this Iowa-based position
