Staff Security Engineer

Responsibilities

Lead security strategy, roadmaps, and architecture adoption across Delinea’s product offerings. Perform security architecture reviews, threat modeling, secure design reviews, and product risk assessments. Expand and mature the Secure Software Development Life Cycle program. Develop cloud, container, application, and infrastructure security standards and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. Automate operational activities supporting product and cloud security infrastructure. Respond to, resolve, or escalate security incidents. Advise teams on product security best practices, compliance requirements, and industry trends. Mentor and guide Product Security team members and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Twelve years of professional cybersecurity experience, including at least seven years in Product Security involving security architecture, threat modeling, secure design, or AppSec tooling. Experience with threat modeling, product security design reviews, and SSDLC processes. Experience with cloud security, cryptography, SaaS multi-tenant product architecture, REST APIs, containers, security testing pipeline integration, defect tracking, source code management, and application security testing tools. Strong leadership, analytical, prioritization, communication, and interpersonal skills. Preferred experience with AI-assisted Product Security activities, cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, GDPR, serverless security, network security, application security, access management, software engineering, Azure, and AWS. Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or CISM are preferred.
