Hiring for a 3rd shift Forklift Operator in Lancaster County!
Shift: 3rd Shift (Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Pay: Competitive – Based on Experience
Position Overview
We are hiring a reliable Forklift Operator / Material Handler for a busy manufacturing and warehouse environment. This role is primarily focused on operating Crown stand-up and sit-down forklifts while supporting production with material movement, general labor, and warehouse tasks. This is a hands-on position ideal for candidates who are comfortable working overnight and in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Crown stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move materials throughout production and warehouse areas
- Transport aluminum, steel, and copper coils between storage, workstations, and shipping
- Perform picking, packing, loading, and general warehouse duties to support daily operations
- Feed sheet aluminum into forming machines and assist with production as needed
- Maintain equipment, remove scrap materials, and keep work areas clean and safe
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Ability to safely operate sit-down forklifts with inverted steering for extended periods
- Experience with battery-powered and propane-powered lift trucks
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and work in a hands-on production role
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures
Additional Skills
- Experience working with metal products such as aluminum, steel, or copper
- Ability to work across multiple departments (production, warehouse, shipping/receiving)
- Mechanical awareness to identify and report equipment issues
- Team-oriented with flexibility to take on different tasks
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LANCASTER, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
