Commercial Drywall Superintendent

General Superintendent Precision Walls seeks a General Superintendent to oversee large commercial construction jobs, including metal stud framing and hanging. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Run large commercial construction jobs, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, schedule, and production standards. Develop personnel by managing field foremen and guiding their growth. Participate in recruitment, selection, placement, and evaluation of all team members, including employees and subcontractors. Ensure job completion on time and on budget. Build strong customer relationships and serve as a partner with the general contractor or client. Monitor employee compliance with PWI safety standards and collaborate with the Safety Team. Enforce state, federal, local, and PWI rules and regulations. Maintain accurate timesheets, determine pay levels, assess skills, and manage performance-based rewards or discipline. Teach foremen practices for recruiting, interviewing, assessing, and hiring staff for their sites. Develop or utilize training programs to enhance team skills and performance. Requirements / Experience At least five (5) years of commercial drywall experience. Proven ability to lead people and build strong customer relationships. Strong work ethic with the ability to multi‑task and maintain focus. Knowledge of drywall and ceiling industry labor, materials, and methods, and ability to instruct others. Computer and technology savvy.
