Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist during a variety of surgical procedures in the operating room
• Demonstrate proficiency across multiple surgical specialties including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular cases
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring proper handling of instruments, supplies, and equipment throughout procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to support safe and efficient surgical care
• Adhere to all infection control, safety, and facility protocols within the OR environment

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• Strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgical specialties
• Must meet travel candidate eligibility requirements; local candidates from ineligible counties are not being accepted for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with a variety of electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Ability to adapt quickly to new facility workflows, protocols, and team dynamics
