Payroll Clerk (SFP-1466682) Kent, Washington Salary: USD28 - USD31 per hour Payroll Specialist Join a stable, established organization where payroll plays a critical role in supporting a dedicated workforce. What You'll Do Process biweekly multi-state payroll for approximately 250 employees with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, rate changes, and other payroll updates. Review payroll data, conduct audits, and resolve discrepancies to ensure compliance and accuracy. Manage payroll deductions, garnishments, tax withholdings, and benefit-related transactions. Serve as a resource for employee payroll questions and provide exceptional internal customer service. Prepare payroll and labor reports for leadership, Accounting, and Human Resources. Partner closely with a Payroll Manager and Payroll Specialists to support ongoing payroll operations. What We're Looking For 2+ years of payroll processing experience. Experience processing multi-state payrolls preferred. Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax withholdings, garnishments, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in Excel and payroll systems. Dayforce/Ceridian experience is a plus but not required. Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
