OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Delivery Driver & Sheet Metal Shop Assistant to join our team. This dual-role position involves delivering products to customer locations while also supporting our sheet metal fabrication team when not on the road. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, construction knowledge, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Logistics:
- Deliver products to customer locations on time
- Load, unload, and transport materials safely
- Operate company vehicles (F-150, F-250, F-350) and pull 15’–24’ cargo trailers as needed
- Pick up orders and shipments
- Inspect vehicles and maintain accurate inventory
- Follow OSHA and safety requirements on job sites
Warehouse & Shop Support:
- Load and unload warehouse deliveries
- Assist sheet metal fabrication team when not on deliveries
- Support general shop and material handling tasks
REQUIREMENTS
- Must reside near Pittsboro or Sanford, NC
- Commercial construction knowledge; carpentry skills preferred
- Experience in delivery driving and customer service
- Clean driving record
- Experience pulling cargo trailers and operating forklifts safely
- CDL preferred
