Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$2692.80/week –

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes. Rotate through various ED areas and support Covid testing and immunization efforts as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs upon arrival, ensuring timely and appropriate care.
• Rotate through ED main, fast track, and observation units, adapting to changing patient volumes.
• Assist with triage, registration, Covid testing, and screening activities to streamline patient flow.
• Administer treatments, medications, and monitor patient responses in accordance with protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and interventions.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of two years recent RN experience in emergency or critical care settings.
• Hold valid RN license and current certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC.
• Demonstrate flexibility to float across departments and adapt to shift changes.
• Be willing to obtain TNCC and conscious sedation certification if not already certified.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
