Production Supervisor POST NUMBER: 484750

Location: Moody, Alabama
Hours: 8:30 - 5 PM 


We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for leading production teams, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, driving productivity, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills and experience managing employees in a manufacturing setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production operations to meet production schedules and customer demands.

  • Lead, coach, and develop production employees while promoting a culture of accountability and teamwork.

  • Monitor production performance, efficiency, quality, and safety metrics.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

  • Coordinate with maintenance, quality, warehouse, and other departments to support operational goals.

  • Conduct employee training, performance reviews, and corrective actions as needed.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.

  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning.

  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.

  • Support inventory, cycle counts, and other operational initiatives as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • 3 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing required.

  • Experience leading production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of food safety, quality, and sanitation standards.

  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate employees.

  • Experience with production scheduling, reporting, and performance metrics.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software systems.

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
