The Counselor establishes therapeutic relationships with assigned patients.
The role involves maintaining a therapeutic environment in the psychiatric unit.
Counselors provide progressively basic-to-complex patient care services.
Level of independence increases with experience and skill.
Day and evening alternating shifts are required.
Weekends are also required.
This position involves 8-hour shifts only.
No holiday time off is being approved.
