EHS Multi-Site Leader

Becton Dickinson seeks an EHS Multi-Site Leader to oversee environmental, health, and safety operations across designated manufacturing sites in the Northeast. The role involves developing business unit EHS strategy, building capability within site-level teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and serving as a key advisor to senior operations leadership on EHS integration into business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and align EHS business unit strategy with global central EHS strategy
• Oversee EHS resourcing, recruitment, and capability building across assigned sites
• Lead implementation of BD Excellence EHS components and maturity assessments
• Manage injury and incident investigations with quality control across site network
• Serve as primary contact for assigned sites and liaison with senior operations leadership

Requirements

• Environmental, Health, and Safety management experience across multiple sites
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations and compliance requirements
• Leadership experience managing networks of EHS professionals
• Experience with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across organizational functions
• Strong communication skills for managing crisis situations and executive-level reporting
