What You Can Expect

Full Time Days

• Advance practice of nursing by implementing innovative alternative solutions that address complex system problems and/or patient care issues.
• Serve as clinical expert in the delivery of patient care.
• Assist with the provision of patient care in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations.
• Integrate research into the clinical environment through the implementation of evidence-based practice.
• Develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate educational programs for patients and their families, staff, and the community.
• As part of a multi-disciplinary team, act as a change agent to develop system performance standards to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Critical Care/ICU experience required with demonstrated expertise in evidence-based practice, quality improvement, interdisciplinary collaboration, and management of complex critically ill patients
• Required Master's Degree Clinical focus program as a CNS
• 3 years Clinical area of expertise Required
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
• Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board
• Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance As Required by Unit
