Position Summary  

The Distribution Center Supervisor oversees a team of warehouse associates and ensures efficient execution of daily operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and safety compliance. This role supports the Distribution Center Manager by driving productivity, maintaining accuracy, and fostering a positive, high‐performance work environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations. 
• Ensure efficient inbound and outbound logistics processes. 
• Maintain accurate inventory control and cycle counting programs. 
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs). 
• Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff and supervisors. 
• Monitor and improve performance metrics such as productivity and order accuracy. 
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA) and company policies. 
• Coordinate transportation, carriers, and shipping schedules. 
• Manage budgets, labor costs, and operational expenses. 
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives. 
• All other duties as assigned by Management 

Qualifications 

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. 
• 2–4 years of warehouse or distribution experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role. 
• Experience with WMS, RF scanners, and material‐handling equipment. 

Skills & Competencies 

• Strong leadership and team management skills. 
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics processes. 
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). 
• Problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills. 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills. 

Work Environment 

Fast-paced warehouse environment requiring standing, walking, and occasional extended hours including weekends.
