About the Role:

Join Tide To Table as a Lead Cook in Ocean City, MD, where your culinary creativity will shine! We're looking for a passionate and skilled individual to lead our kitchen team, ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily kitchen operations and manage food preparation and cooking.
Create and develop innovative menu items that delight our customers.
Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met consistently.
Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills.
Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain budget.
Collaborate with management to optimize kitchen workflow and efficiency.
Provide exceptional customer service and address guest feedback promptly.
Assist in planning and executing special events and catering services.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Passion for food and a commitment to quality and excellence.
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
