Electrician II

Responsibilities Assemble harnesses, cables, switch panels, circuit boards, and a variety of different electrical components Meet standards of safety and 5S Promote the use and applications of Lean Manufacturing continuous improvement tools as part of the culture Meet standards of safety and 5S Be compliant with the rules of conduct and attendance per company policy Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. Requirements 1- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools, drills, and screw guns Must be able to interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to perform critical analysis is desired Ability to effectively present information in one–on–one and small group situations to other employees Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices Ability to recognize the quality expected and be able to reproduce it Physical Demands The employee is regularly required to stand or walk; use hands to finger; handle or feel objects; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, or crouch The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 # pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
