Education Account Executive

*This is a field sales position that requires you to be located and frequently travel to customers sites within the northeast TX territory.

\nHoward Technology Solutions is a rapidly expanding technology solutions provider for the Healthcare, K-12, Higher Education, Government and Commercial markets.
\n \nAbout the Role
\nThe Higher Education Account Executive is responsible for the promotion and sale of technology solutions to Higher Education facilities within a designated territory. In addition to a strong background in technology, this individual will work with customers to determine their business requirements, create solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. This is a “results oriented” position that requires an organized, hardworking, self-driven, and focused individual determined to meet sales quotas.
\n \nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Developing relationships with Technology Coordinators, CIOs, Network Administrators and Audio Visual Directors. \n
- Achieve territory sales quota. \n
- Actively and consistently prospect and develop new business. \n
- Build customer relationships. \n
- Conduct presentations and in-service trainings. \n
- Monthly forecasting. \n
- Plan personal work schedules, prioritizing work tasks and responsibilities. \n
- Complete weekly Sales Productivity Reports. \n
- Daily updates of CRM system. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Four-year college degree from an accredited institution is preferred but not mandatory. \n
Required Skills
\n- \n
- Must be able to develop relationships. \n
- Strong desire to be in the technology sales segment. \n
- Corporate level proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, official e-mailing, and computer skills, etc. \n
- Presentable, courteous and pleasant personality. \n
- Exhibit a sense of urgency. \n
- Hardworking, sincere, honest, dedicated and self-achiever. \n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. \n
Pay range and compensation package
