Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Browns Summit, NC 27214 Employment Type: Permanent Job Category: Direct Hire Pay Rate: $60-65 / hour Job Summary: Responsible for supervising and coordinating the facility processing and manufacturing operations for all products designated for production. Also supervises the general cleaning, housekeeping and sanitation of the entire facility (internal and external) along with all the equipment designated for processing and the manufacturing of the products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for keeping equipment and process tools in sanitary condition. Supervises hourly production employees in dried soup mix department. Responsible for directing and coordinating the activities in the dried soup mix department based on the production schedule prepared by the Dept Mgr. and VP Operations. Maintains employees time based on these activities. Interprets and enforces company policies and regulations. Assists employees in resolving job related problems. Performs electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on soup department machines on an as-needed basis. Repairs minor electrical and mechanical problems on an as-needed basis. Coordinates and directs plant safety needs with regard to employee training and OSHA compliance as time permits. Salary 60k-65k
