Provide pharmaceutical care as a Per Diem Pharmacist supporting a small, rural community health center pharmacy serving primarily patients over 50 years old. This opportunity offers meaningful patient interaction in a close-knit setting with manageable daily prescription volumes, allowing for impactful clinical contributions.


Assignment Details:

• Term: July 15th to July 31st
• Schedule:
  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • No weekend hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions efficiently and accurately using Liberty pharmacy system
• Provide patient counseling tailored to an older adult population
• Oversee and manage pharmacy technicians (team of 2) to maintain smooth workflow

Qualifications:

• Active, clear Texas pharmacist license required
• Experience in community health or retail pharmacy preferred

Additional Information:

• Script volume averages 120-130 prescriptions per day, allowing focused patient interactions
• On-site furnished trailer available for housing or assistance with booking accommodations based on preference
