Registered Nurse (RN) – 2nd Shift | 7 PM–7 AM

Ridge Valley Center for Nursing | Wilkesboro, NC
Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts

Ridge Valley Center for Nursing is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for our 7 PM–7 AM overnight shift .

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care throughout the overnight shift.

• Assess residents' conditions and monitor for changes in health status.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders and facility policies.

• Monitor residents and respond promptly to changes in condition or adverse symptoms.

• Perform treatments, wound care, IV therapy, catheter care, and other nursing procedures as needed.

• Accurately document assessments, medications, treatments, vital signs, and other clinical information.

• Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and members of the interdisciplinary team.

• Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate.

• Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.

• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina .

• Current CPR certification.

• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the nursing team.

• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care.

• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience is preferred.
