Responsibilities: Assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily back-of-house operations and food production Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high performance standards Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet company standards on every plate Monitor food inventory, assist with ordering, and minimize waste to control food costs Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health code compliance at all times Assist in scheduling kitchen staff and managing labor to meet business needs Step in as acting Kitchen Manager during absences and high-volume service periods Requirements: 2+ years of kitchen or culinary experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role Strong knowledge of food safety standards and ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant or bar-and-grill environment preferred Ability to lead a team with a positive, hands-on management style Solid understanding of food cost, inventory management, and kitchen operations Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Strong communication and organizational skills About Us: The Mad Apple Burger & Billiard Co. is Appleton's go-to destination for handcrafted burgers, and 100% scratch made foods,great drinks, and a lively billiards atmosphere.
