Truss Assembler | Youth Apprentice (School-to-Work Program)

Location: Wrightstown, Wisconsin

Pay: Starting at $17/hr

Hours: Flexible based on students needs/availability (2nd shift hours between 1p-9p, but could be earlier or later for student)

We hire for heart and train for skill—no prior manufacturing experience needed.

What You’ll Do (Under Direct Mentorship) Working directly alongside experienced Line Leaders and mentors, you will:

Learn High-Tech Manufacturing: Monitor automated truss-building machinery and integrate advanced robotic technology into your daily workflow.
Master Digital Schematics: Learn to read building plans, interpret digital schematics, and accurately position pre-cut lumber.
Hands-On Assembly: Secure truss joints using metal reinforcement plates, hammers, and pneumatic tools.
Quality Assurance: Verify exact dimensions and check assembly accuracy before products move to the stacker.
Safety First: Maintain a clean work environment and strictly adhere to all youth safety protocols.

What We’re Looking For

Current High School Junior or Senior in good academic standing.
Basic math skills and an eagerness to learn practical measurement.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb on/off platforms (2.5–3 ft) repeatedly.
Dependable attitude, strong safety awareness, and readiness to contribute to a supportive team.
