Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in providing compassionate care in a long-term care environment for older adults. This role entails direct patient care, medication administration, and oversight of nursing assistants.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents, focusing on their comfort and dignity.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in their daily duties.
• Assess and document patient conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a long-term care setting.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.
