Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time - Mornings in East Dubuque, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of chemical and petrochemical facility grounds, access points, buildings, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access concerns according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-condition notifications, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Prepare accurate reports and shift documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
