About the Position

Interventional Radiology locums coverage in Illinois with no call required, working a mix of inpatient and outpatient adult cases. Monday through Saturday daytime schedule with a high procedural volume.

Highlights:

• No call required.

Practice Setting:

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient Interventional Radiology.
• Adult patient population.
• Annual IR census, 1,800 to 2,000 cases; outpatient volume, 1,260 to 1,400 annually.
• Collaborative workflow with referring physicians, hospital teams, and procedural staff.

Schedule:

• Monday through Saturday, 8a to 5p.

Cases and Procedures:

• CT and ultrasound guided biopsies, including lung, thyroid, renal, liver, bone, lymph node, bone marrow.
• Drain placements and management, including abscess drains, chest tubes, drain exchanges.
• Biliary procedures; GI and GU procedures.
• Vascular access and procedures, including hemodialysis access; oncology related interventions.

Requirements:

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Board Certified in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology.
• Active Illinois license required, will not wait for license.
• ACLS, CSR, and DEA.
