Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct virtual therapy sessions for individuals and groups, using webcam or phone calls to engage with clients in a meaningful way. \n
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans that reflect clients' unique needs, tracking their progress over time to ensure effective interventions. \n
- Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with other professionals, including medical staff and family members, to optimize holistic client care. \n
- Maintain accurate, confidential electronic case files and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. \n
- Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to discuss cases, share best practices, and develop additional approaches to improve client outcomes. \n
This role primarily involves working with clients in a hospice setting, where sensitivity and acute understanding of end-of-life issues are essential. You will provide emotional support and counseling to patients, their families, and caregivers, helping them navigate challenges associated with terminal illness and grief. Your approach will be guided by empathy and an understanding of the unique emotional landscapes that accompany these profound experiences.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory. \n
- A valid and active LICSW license in Massachusetts is required to practice. \n
- A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is essential, ideally within a mental health or hospice environment. \n
- Demonstrated ability to conduct diagnostic assessments and create treatment plans that address multifaceted client needs. \n
- A strong commitment to delivering ethical, inclusive, and culturally aware care to diverse populations. \n
