The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting both front and back office operations within a small team environment. This position requires proficiency in blood draws, lab work, patient records management, and fluent Spanish communication. The role involves occasional travel between office locations in Cumming and Norcross to provide coverage as needed. The work schedule follows fixed hours Monday through Thursday and Friday until noon, with potential for a half-day on some Saturdays. Cross-training for multiple responsibilities ensures a dynamic and engaging work atmosphere, fostering a family-like team culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and basic lab work accurately and efficiently
• Manage patient records and documentation with attention to detail
• Provide back office support to ensure smooth clinical operations
• Communicate fluently in Spanish with patients and team members
• Travel occasionally between Cumming and Norcross offices to provide coverage
• Cross-train to support both front desk and clinical duties

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in medical assisting
• Associate degree in Medical Assisting or related field
• Phlebotomy certification with demonstrated skills
• Fluency in Spanish for effective communication
• Basic laboratory skills relevant to clinical tasks
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities
