KaTom Restaurant Supply is one of the nation's leading restaurant equipment and supply dealers, and we're looking for a dependable, motivated Purchasing Agent to join our team.

What You'll Do

As a Purchasing Agent, you'll play an important role in keeping our purchasing operations running smoothly. You'll process a high volume of purchase orders, ensure information is accurate, and work closely with other departments to keep orders moving.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Processing a high volume of direct-ship purchase orders and assisting with purchase orders for our Distribution Center.
• Reviewing and auditing orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation.
• Communicating professionally with coworkers and other departments.
• Prioritizing multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Adapting to changing procedures and business needs.
• Supporting the Purchasing team wherever needed.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who can stay organized, work efficiently, and maintain accuracy even when things get busy.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• The ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of purchasing experience or a combination of relevant education and experience.
• College-level coursework or additional education.
• Typing proficiency of approximately 60 words per minute.

Schedule and Compensation

• Pay: Starting at $23.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, with availability between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
• Location: Kodak, TN - This is an onsite position
