Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Available Shifts: 6:15 AM–6:45 PM, 11:00 AM–11:00 PM, 6:15 PM–6:45 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Emergency Department, including triage and Fast Track areas
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4 in the main ER, 1:5 in a lower acuity area, and 1:4–6 in Fast Track
• Accurately read and interpret telemetry strips and monitor cardiac rhythms
• Operate and manage ventilated patients using Servo ventilators; perform aerosols for non-vented patients as needed
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
• Participate in every-other-weekend and holiday rotation schedules alongside permanent staff

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry/cardiac strips
• Emergency Room clinical experience
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
• No artificial/false nails per department policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification
• NIHSS certification
• TNCC certification (facility may allow travelers to obtain on-site at candidate's own expense if space permits)
• Experience with a diverse patient population including pediatric patients (approximately 15% of volume) and high-acuity diagnoses such as chest pain, respiratory failure, and closed head injuries
