Mental Health Counselor Masters - Kodiak School Program The Mental Health Counselor at Providence Kodiak Island Counseling Center provides comprehensive therapy services to individuals, families, and groups in a school-based setting. This role is dedicated to supporting the mental health of children, adolescents, and adults within the Kodiak School Program, offering full-time support during the academic year with a patient-centered approach. Job Responsibilities Under general supervision, this position provides quality individual, group, family and marital therapy with children, adolescents and adults. The School program positions are based on a 10-month working schedule in the local Kodiak school district from August to May, with June and July months off. Working Hours Position hours are full time, 1.0 FTE, variable shift, Monday–Friday, standard school hours, 40 hours per week. Qualifications Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Education or related Behavioral Health Field to obtain licensure 1 year of counseling experience Preferred Qualifications Substance Abuse Professional Certification (e.g., CDC I or II, National Master Addiction Counselor) within 1 year of hire Benefits & Compensation Pay Range: $38.67 - $61.22 per hour. Additional compensation may be available such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. $10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
