Registered Nurse – Acute Care

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 36.00
• Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per policy: Required
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines.
• Collect and analyze data pertinent to the patient's health, developing plans to prescribe interventions.
• Implement care plans and evaluate progress toward attaining health outcomes.
• Foster collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe and caring environment.
• Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
